Since the establishment of Ichiko Aoba’s independent label hermine, she has digitally released eight standalone singles, spanning from the stark acoustic folk of the viral Asleep Among Endives, to the orchestral grandeur of Space Orphans. For the first time ever, those singles have been compiled into a single LP, expertly mastered by Seigen Ono (SAIDERA sounds), and cut by the iconic Scott Hull (Masterdisk). The result is a singular disk that is both clear and warm; maintaining the pristine quality of the original digital releases, while adding a vintage touch that perfectly complements Aoba’s music.
Designed by Sato Yugo (futatsume) and printed on high quality, eco-friendly paper made specially in Japan, Aoba’s first ever compilation is made with attention to the smallest of details.
